It’s no secret that the best diet to help you lose weight and transform your body is higher protein and low carb. The problem with this is that when followed for too long it can lead to health issues.

2. History

When we look back 100 years, we might see a diet that absolutely included meats, butter, and eggs, but often this was eaten in moderation. Additionally, these foods were pasture-raised and not processed like what we see today.

3. Longest Lived People

Research shows us that the longest-lived people follow more of a plant-based diet with a maximum of 10% of their daily diet coming from some meat, fish, and eggs.
