Trust me when I tell you you do not want to focus on simply forcing your body to lose weight. The goal should actually be to work on any health imbalances which will then enable you to much more effortlessly lose the weight and keep it off.

If you are currently counting calories in order to lose weight you have been misled to believe that weight loss is a simple equation of taking in less than you put out. This will only get you so far and unfortunately, hormonal imbalances affect far more women than men and that is why we see the above-stated formula not work for many clients in our practice.

One more reason you want to take the weight off and achieve a healthy weight is that extra body weight above a healthy BMI not only causes more stress in the body but increases almost every factor for early mortality and increased aging response.
