The study revealed that participants achieved an average age reduction of 1.96 years, while the control group aged 1.27 years older. By adopting a comprehensive approach that includes nutrition, stress reduction, and exercise, it’s possible to slow down the aging process.

2. What is The Longevity Diet

The diet for this study includes the following:

  • Per Week
    • 1-2 servings of liver per week
    • 5-10 eggs per week
  • Per Day
    • 2 cups dark leafy greens
    • 2 cups cruciferous veggies 
    • 3 cups colorful veggies (excluding sweet corn and white potatoes) 
    • 1-2 medium beets 
    • 1/2 cup berries 
    • 4 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
    • 4 Tbsp sunflower seeds
    • 1/2 tsp rosemary 
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric 
    • 2 medium garlic cloves
    • 2 cups green tea
    • 3 cups oolong tea
    • 6 oz animal protein

3. Additional Notes Regarding The Diet

  • Fasting between 7 pm and 7 am
  • Avoid sugar, candy, grains, legumes, and beans, and minimize the use of plastic containers
  • Minimum 7 hours of sleep per night
  • 30 minutes of exercise 5X per week
  • Stress Reduction/Relaxation 2X per day
