You can be doing all the right things to optimize your wellness but if you are not able to access your parasympathetic nervous system state your body cannot rejuvenate itself.

Getting 7-9 hours of sleep is the best way to enter the parasympathetic state and access your body’s healing potential.

So on today’s #CabralConcept 2526, I want to share with you how to use the 3-2-1 formula for the best sleep results so you can start implementing it tonight- Enjoy the show, and let me know what you thought!

Show Highlights & Big Takeaways:

1. 3 Hours Before Bed

Make sure to be done eating for the day 3 hours before bedtime.  Eating requires digestion and digestion requires energy. We want to ensure your body is relaxed, calm and utilizing as little energy as possible.

2. Two Hours Before Bed

Refrain from drinking any liquids 2 hours before bed. A few sips are ok.  Reducing liquid intake will ensure you don’t need to disrupt your sleep by getting up at night to urinate.

3. One Hour Before Bed

Turn off all screens and begin your nightly wind-down. Turn off as many lights as possible and dim others. If you are using electronics make sure they are in night mode or use blue-blocking glasses.
