WW: Is This the Easiest Fasting Method to Stick With? (Research Says Yes)

Intermittent fasting has been the buzzword for a while now…

And although it has numerous health benefits it can be confusing to understand where to start and which type of intermittent fasting is the “best” way.

The good news is that getting started doesn’t have to be radical and in fact, research shows that this particular way of fasting is sensible and easy to follow.

So, on today’s #CabralConcept 2413 I want to share with you a simple way to get started and let you decide for yourself if this is the easiest fasting method to stick with- Enjoy the show and let me know what you thought in the comments!

Show Highlights & Big Takeaways:

1. The 5:2 Method

The 5:2 diet is one of the original methods of Intermittent fasting. It consists of 2 nonconsecutive days of low calories and 5 days of sensible eating.

2. Get Started

If you are looking for a place to start, this is it. The 5:2 method is simple to follow, realistic, and sustainable.

3. Example

In my practice, we often start people off with Monday and Thursday being low calories days (500 calories for women and 600 calories for men). The morning and afternoon consist of a Daily Nutritional Support Shake (important to stay hydrated) and a 400-500 calorie dinner of vegetables, protein, and healthy fats.
