Although carb cycling programs vary, high carbohydrate days are reserved for the days you are exercising at a higher intensity. When you expend more energy you get to eat more carbs…

2. Moderate Carb Days

On the days that you’re doing moderate-intensity exercise like cardio, a small amount of carbohydrates are taken in to meet the lower energy demand.

3. Low Carb Days

On your rest days, you are going to keep your carb intake at its lowest (but not zero) in order to reduce total calories and also manage glucose levels to a better degree without exercise.
