Check out today’s questions:
Angela: I have stage 1 lipedema. recently last 3 years gained about 30lbs. I am 43 and looking for help. I have had lipedema for as long as I can remember feeling my thighs were just SO fatty even when I was thiner. 120-132 lbs I want to feel like me again
Erik: Hi Dr. C, I was hoping to get some guidance about protocols. As of now I’m half way through the mold protocol after finishing the CBO protocol this spring. I had pretty bad bacterial overgrowth and mold markers. Ive been out of the mold for a year and was feeling good through the CBO protocol. However, the last week of the CBO protocol was the week of my yearly fishing trip. I had fun but it also involves a lot of processed foods and alcohol. This resulted in my bad joint pain starting mid meal coming back and almost feeling like Im starting over. On the mold protocol the joint pain during and post meal has continued despite eating lower histamine and taking DAO. Im almost 2 months in taking the clean gut probiotic and healthy gut support. Any suggestions what to do after heavy metal detox.
Alicja: Hello Dr. Cabral, Thank you for all you do. I’m your long time listener. I’m 43 yo and recently I started noticing my heart working differently. From time to time I experience very forceful heart beat. It is very noticeable and uncomfortable, like a hard thump. I’m not sure what is happening and what is causing it. It happens at random times of days, more and more often, and always at bed time when I try to go to sleep. Last night I counted and had the “hard thump” heart beat about every 10 seconds. Is this dangerous? What should I do about it? My puls is normal and I’m prone to low blood pressure. I’m not out of breath, but when I experience the hard thumps, it is harder to breathe. Why did I started experiencing this?
Amy: I heard you mention on an earlier podcast that you have worked with people that have JAK2 mutation. Is there actually a way to treat this naturally without using pharmaceuticals? My mom has this and they had her on a low dose chemo drug. We are wondering what (if anything) can be done naturally to help lower her platelet count. Thank you Dr. Cabral!
Anonymous: Hi! Hope you’re doing well. I saw a reel on IG that we shouldn’t mix bananas and blueberries because blueberries contain flavonoids and banana contains PPO which breaks down flavonoids? Is there any truth to this? And secondly, what do you think about the viral olive oil and lemon shots in the morning? They list so many benefits. If you are a proponent, how much of each would you use? Third question: is dancing a good way of exercising? I don’t particularly enjoy other types of exercise like strength training, but dancing is something I could do every other day.. sometimes I could also do pilates but have to force myself to do it.. what would you recommend on a weekly basis? Thank you for your comprehensive answers and all you do, you’re such a gem!
Thank you for tuning into today’s Cabral HouseCall and be sure to check back tomorrow where we answer more of our community’s questions!
