Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows!
This is where we answer our community’s wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track!
Check out today’s questions:
Jenny: Hi Dr. Cabral – I couldn’t find a prior question on this topic, so I thought I would ask. What are your thoughts on the use of tuning forks? I have seen ads which claim they are great at calming the nervous system and help with sleep, but I thought I would come to my most trusted source first! Thank you so much to you and your team.
Jenny: Hi Dr. Cabral-I have a good news update to share based on a previous question. Awhile back I asked for your advice regarding the pressure in my eyes. I shared my father was diagnosed with glaucoma at a young age and was prescribed several daily eye drops to reduce the pressure in his eyes for the last 20 years of his life (he lived to 85). He evenually lost his vision completely. My eye doctor has commented about my raised pressure for the past couple of years and several months ago recommended I start the same series of drops. I wanted to try other options first, so I asked here. I already follow the daily protocol level 2 and include Daily Omega 3, and quarterly detoxes. You suggested Daily Vision Support and InflammaSoothe also. My eye pressure is now at a safe level. Thank you so much!
Sophia: Any thoughts on how to maintain kidney function of a transplanted kidney? I have mine for going-on 20 years now
Mickey: Hello, Iāve tested my Vit D twice now in the last two years and itās incredibly low (28!) and now unchanged despite taking a high dose of D3/K2 (10,000 IU) a few times a week for about a year. I get that there can be underlying causes but I also wonder if Iām taking it wrong? Iāve heard taking it with a meal containing fat or magnesium is best for absorption. I do live in WI but try to get sun but I think this is so low I need supplementation. Any info is greatly appreciated, thank you so much!
Tricia: Hi Dr Cabral – Thanks so much for doing these podcasts each weekend! Quick question on melatonin. I’m 56 YO female and recently started taking one dropper most nights and found I was still waking at 2am so I added the sleep support supplement (periodically). I don’t take either all the time because honestly, I don’t feel the melatonin is helping and really the next day I feel sleepier and have a headache. Is that normal? At first, I thought it was helping but now I’m not so sure. I don’t have a chronic issue of not sleeping but I go periods of good sleep and not so good sleep. Possibly hormonal? I did test and I’m estrogen dominant. The IHP started me on progesterone support 3 at night. It was helping me sleep like a baby so I’m not sure what is going on lately. Thank you!
Thank you for tuning into today’s Cabral HouseCall and be sure to check back tomorrow where we answer more of our communityās questions!
