Show Highlights & Big Takeaways:

1. Digestion

Digestion is one of the largest metabolic processes in the body. It is important to understand that the food you eat will burn a certain about of calories in your body. For example, when you eat protein, it takes about 30 calories (out of every 100) of energy in order to break down that food.

2. Research

This study found that when identical calories were consumed there was a 2.5X higher diet-induced thermogenesis by consuming a larger breakfast than a larger meal in the evening.

3. Conclusion

More calories are burned during/after breakfast than after dinner. A larger breakfast and smaller dinner will result in better glucose levels, wellness, rejuvenation, deeper sleep, and more.
