Lisa: Hi Dr. Cabral, I’m a long time listener for the last 3 years and I’m always sharing your podcasts to help others. I truly appreciate how you do daily podcasts because it helps keep me motivated on my way into work each morning.VERY BRIEF history: Kapha body type/ Struggle BIG TIME to lose any weight Done 2 of your 14 day detoxes completed the CBO protocol I’m 100% plantbased and do not cheat because I need to lose 40 lbs. and I know my body is still not healthy, but I do hope one day I can have a cheat meal. I have done most all labs through you. Adrenals and thyroid look good, but I still take your thyroid supplement. A little Estrogen Dominance and I do take your DIM. HTMA did show high aluminum. I’m ordering your heavy metal protocol today. The 2 labs left for me to take is the Toxicity lab and the Mold Toxicity lab. Both of my kids did your mold toxicity lab and both came back high for molds. We are starting them on your protocol over Christmas break. I have a infrared sauna and do 40 mins a day/5 days a week. I do not exercise enough, but do enjoy hot yoga twice a week. Honestly, I am feeling much better than I ever have in the past, even though I still know I have to have more toxicity because I can’t lose weight. Besides the struggle to lose weight, I have severe shoulder blade pains. My Biomedical doctor put me on LDN and other anti-inflammatory supplements, but the pain is still there. I have eliminated every type of food that can cause inflammation: lectins, high oxalates, nightshades, and all the other foods. Question: When I do a 14 hour fast, the pain is much worse. Do you have idea as to why fasting makes my pain worse? Should I just stick with a 12 hour fast even though I’m the kapha body type? I already take your full spectrum magnesium and MANY other supplements from equilibrium. Thank you so much! Lisa
Noel: Hi Dr. Cabral,In recent years I don’t feel any effects of caffeine. I can drink a lot or a little or none, and I don’t notice any effects. Currently I enjoy a cup of coffee and a cup of green tea a day. I’m curious about why I don’t feel the effects of caffeine. Could it be I’m a fast metabolizer? Or could it possibly be a a clue related to other symptoms related to my current health? In 2015 I was diagnosed with CIRS (AKA Alzheimer’s Type 3 according to Dr. Dale Bredesen). I turned around many of my inflammatory markers and symptoms with diet and lifestyle and mold avoidance. I’m curious b/c I heard you mention this low or no reaction to caffeine in one of your Alzheimer’s podcasts. I have a few remaining symptoms, and I’m hoping your trainings and protocols can help me clear them all up. I’m so energized and uplifted by all that you do and share. Thank you for helping “tough nut, odd duck” cases like me!!! (Currently in week 2 of 21 Day Detox and eagerly awaiting 3 test results – OAT, Stool & HTMA – and coaching call)
Lissette: When can we start a Dr Cabral Healthy mind, body ,soul book reviews. Is would allow us to share knowledge of the different cookbooks with healthy recipes, scientific investigations that are done around food , medicines etc. Also when will you organize a retreat ,convention etc to meet just ideas Thank you
Jessi: Hello! Love love your show. My husband and I were wondering that ever since we have been more concious eaters and cut out gluten/dairy etc, we are more “sensitive”. Like even if we cheat a little, we blow up w gas, acne, get an array of bad side effects. Meanwhile our friends/siblings who are no where near as healthy in terms of what they eat, can seem to eat whatever they want! They are also a bit overweight but seem to have no sensitivies. Is there a correlation? Do you get more sensitive as you clean out your body? Is it that once you are more “clean” you feel the bad food more than before when you may have built up a resistance to it? It almost doesn’t seem fair that us “healthy eaters” are the sensitive ones and the overweight and unhealthy friends say ” seeee look at you, what is the point you are eating healthy and not your body can’t handel anything” —– frustrating…… Please clarify. Thank you!
Anthony: What are your thoughts Dr. Cabral on mouth breathing and health advocates who say to use tape over their mouths while you sleep?”Breathing through our mouth versus our nose can contribute to poor sleep, dry mouth, high blood pressure, migraines and more. When we breathe through our nose, we’re able to activate our parasympathetic nervous system. This means we’re more calm, relaxed, and ready for bed.”
Jay: Hello,My daughter and I both have celiac disease,my daughter is 5 and when she starts to get sick I’ve always given her Echinacea for the first 3 days,The herb causes immune stimulating effects,I’ve always seen results in her recovery when I give her Echinacea. Should I stop giving it to her,will it cause long term problems?Do you recommend anything else as a alternative. Thank you
