Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend!
I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of our community’s questions that have come in over the past few weeks…
Let’s get started!
Ian: can you address a specific youtube channel called “james…? he talks about killing viruses but has conflicting views and i would love if you could go check out some of the things he says about detoxing and getting rid of viruses and give your opinion on it!
Laura: I just listened to your podcast on food combining – wow! Thank you! I now realize that fruits are best eaten alone. With that being said, I drink a smoothie every morning with organic fruit, greens powder, ginger, lemon and fresh greens (kale, spinach). Should I be removing those fresh greens from my fruit smoothie? I see that fruits and vegetables digest at different rates, and it can cause fermentation. Thank you!
Christi: Hi Dr. Cabral! Thanks so much for taking the time to care. I’m really curious what your take would be on some new research on vitamin E featured on Ben Greenfield’s podcast titled “Why your vitamin E supplement” I don’t know if you listen to his podcast or if you would be willing to do so and provide your opinion on a Friday review or something. Thanks!
Patrick: Hey dr Cabral Doing better than ever since finding you podcast almost a year ago I’ve listened to almost all of you podcast and did hear similar ones to mine. Like I mentioned before I’m 5/7 down 40 pounds now 165 since taking some of your advice Like 12 hour fast and sauna about 3 days a week for 20 min, my question is about eggs I’ve been eating eggs 2 to 3 days a week my entire life with no trouble at all, for the past two and a half months I can’t eat eggs any more . About a hour after I eat them I’ll get a stomach ache that last about 3 or 4 hours. I did stop eating them for a month and once I Decided to have them again I had the same exact pain again so I skipped another month and same result , nothing else bothers me at all and I haven’t been on any type of medication In the pass few years for anything so I’m not sure what changed in the pass few months. love you dns both flavors and keep up the amazing work . Thank you
Anonymous: Hello Dr. Cabral! I am a 31-year-old female that has diffused hair loss. It runs in my family as both of my parents and my two siblings have it (androgenetic alopecia). I was wondering if there is a possibility for me to halt and reverse my hair loss even though it is genetic (hair loss started 3 years ago). I currently do have some thyroid and hormonal imbalances that I am working to balance and think this may have triggered early onset alopecia for me. I am on the 21-day DCD at the moment and trying to figure out my next steps for it. Didn’t know if your clients have had positive results in regrowing their hair and wanted your thoughts on it. Thanks much!
Pam: I love your podcast and mission! My question is about “getting off” Afrin nasal spray. My situation a bit unique because I probably won’t be ready to stop for a few months. My airway is impinged by my lower jaw, as seen on a cone beam x-ray. In my teens I had 4 teeth pulled for braces and over the next 4 decades bone and structure shifting narrowed my palette and pulled my lower jaw toward my neck.A few years ago, when breathing due to stuffiness lasted months and I had not had the x-ray done yet, I resorted to using nasal spray. Finally, at a holistic dentist’s office they were able to see what was going on — and they have seen it plenty of times in people who had the teeth pulled for orthodontic work! Lucky for me, I’ve been able to utilize their cutting edge knowledge by using an “appliance” to expand my uppers, creating the space that was taken away. That step is completed and now I will wear braces for maybe a year to move the teeth forward.Sometime during this movement, my jaw will be moving forward, taking the pressure off the airway. When this happens I will stop the spray. (I’d love to stop now but have tried many times so decided to wait until I know the airway is open). One key is to avoid inflammation in my neck as much as possible.Do you have any tips for helping my body get off this spray? I have the Sinus Support, Nutribiotic Nasal Spray Plus, and Nutribiotic throat spray. I have been taking the Sinus Support even though I’m using the spray, should I continue?I can’t thank you enough for answering these House Call questions and sharing the vast amount of knowledge you’ve gained. You are truly an angel. (a very masculine one, lol)
