HouseCall: Poor Circulation, Nutrition for Dogs, Fear of Unknown, Acupuncture Benefits, Fasted Workouts

Welcome back to our weekend Cabral HouseCall shows!

This is where we answer our community’s wellness, weight loss, and anti-aging questions to help people get back on track!

Check out today’s questions:

Lena: Hi Dr. Cabral, Thank you for giving us the opportunity to ask questions. I really appreciate it. I have a thin endometrium lining that has been incredibly challenging to thicken during the IVF process. I also have cold hands and feet. My Thyroid is within normal range. What could be the cause of my poor circulation and how can I fix it? Thank you!!

Berry: Hi Doc, I am just curious if you have come upon any new research or interesting updates on dog nutrition and health. I have loved your previous podcasts on the topic and am always looking for ways to support and improve my dog’s health. thank you!

Anonymous: Hi- I really want to do the full body MRI but I have this fear of finding out something terrible that I am just going to worry about and/or that I can’t do anything about. My brain tells me that I should do it because of the obvious preventative reasons but bmy fear is holding me back. I wanted to get your thoughts/perspective as this is a real issue I deal with and it is not limited to just this.

Mia: Hi Dr. Cabral, I am just curious, what issues do you think acupuncture is best at treating? I have seen ads for cosmetic acupuncturist. Is it possible to get rid of wrinkles through acupuncture? Thank you!

Audrey: Hi Dr. Cabral, I’ve been testing my blood sugar regularly. Working out in a fasted state first thing in the morning (12 hrs overnight fasted) raises my blood sugar. does this kick me out of fasting and do I lose the benefits of fasting even if I’m not eating or drinking anything? Does working out during a prolonged fast, say 36 hrs, cause the body to lose muscle? They say ketones are created and the ketones help mitigate muscle loss

Thank you for tuning into today’s Cabral HouseCall and be sure to check back tomorrow where we answer more of our community’s questions!
