Ericka: Hi Dr. Cabral! I was wondering if the hydrogen tablets are just as good as the machine you use? I want to save for it, but until then, are the tablets just as good?

Michelle: My son and daughter-in-law are 20 weeks pregnant with their first child and just found out their unborn baby has Cystic Fibrosis. They are extremely health conscious individuals with food, exercise, sauna, yoga and meditation and are curious how to begin navigating this new diagnosis from a functional medicine perspective once the baby is born while also working with their CF medical team. You’ve answered one question about CF several years ago stating to be cautious with mucus causing foods and be careful with food combining. Do you any other thoughts you feel would be helpful?

Donelle: Hi Dr. Cabral – I’m currently finishing up IHP Level 1 and loving it so far! I have a specific question regarding a condition my husband has developed over the last year+. He has hemifacial spasms on one side of his face. It started with an eye twitch but spread down his cheek and toward his mouth over time. He had a head/neck MRI done. No issues noted. Currently, he is receiving botox injections in the area every 3-4 months as needed. He takes good supplements (fish oil, magnesium, DNS, berberine, etc.) but nothing helps to resolve this. Any advice you can share would be most appeciated! Thank you, Donelle
