HouseCall: Morning Cortisol Spike, Restless Leg, Face Blushing, Prostatitis, Gut Detoxing Herbs, Breakfast Food Combinations
Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend!
I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of our community’s questions that have come in over the past few weeks…
Let’s get started!
Kristen: Hi there – I LOVE your content, you’re doing great things. I am a female in my late 20s and have had hormone issues for awhile. I got tested and have high estriol and low progesterone (estrogen dominance), but also have a huge cortisol spike in the morning (above normal). I am looking to lose weight and love to workout out in the morning first thing (fasted) but was wondering if you recommend eating something. If yes, what would you recommend given I’m looking to lose weight? Honey, a piece of fruit, celery juice? Any other suggestions? Thank you so much!
Ann: Aloha, I am writing in regards to my 75 year old father. He has an over production of red blood cells, he’s taking Jakafi for his blood. He has restless leg, and his psi count wAs high but after taking the medication (Jakafi) his count has gone down. Thank you for your time! Sent from the heart, Ann
Anonymous: I experience facial blushing in social situations where I feel uncomfortable or when the attention is on me and then knowing my face is turning red makes it even worse because then I worry that people are going to notice it and/or say something. It’s a bad cycle. I know it’s a fight or flight response that’s happening but my question is what can I do about it as a long term fix, and also is there anything I can do in that moment when I feel it coming on, to send a signal to my body that it’s safe and doesn’t need to be in flight or fight?
Alexandro: Doctor Cabral,I’m a 46 year old male. I suffer from what I believe to be chronic issues, from prostatitis, to an immune system one. I’ve recently changed my diet to an 85% or so fruits and vegetables. Symptoms are: the typical prostatitis symptoms, extreme body aches when dealing with a virus infection, constant fatigue, seasonal allergies, post nasal drip, chronic back pain (herniated discs). I’m interested in consulting with you to try to recover my happiness back. I must add that most of these issues have accompanied me since I was a teenager.
John: Hi Dr. Cabral – I believe you mentioned before that for stubborn cases on the CBO protocol, you may use Citricidal drops and/or GI Balance. Can I include these during the CBO protocol to further maximize the impact of the CBO protocol, or is there harm in including these without knowing if they’re truly needed? I am planning to use Citricidal drops during month 1 and GI balance during month 2 along with the normal CBO supplements. If I use GI balance in month 2, do I need to take it with a different meal than when I’m taking L. Acidophilus? Thank you for your time.
John: Hi Dr. Cabral – If I’d like to do a DNS/fruit smoothie along with oatmeal for breakfast, is it better to consume the DNS/fruit smoothie first since it has fruits, or should I have oatmeal first? And when my digestion gets better, do you think it’s okay to put the DNS powder and fruits into my oatmeal since they’re all somewhat “mushy” / blended foods? Thank you for your time.
Thank you for tuning into this weekend’s Cabral HouseCalls and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Mindset & Motivation Monday show to get your week started off right!
