1. Vitamin K2

Research indicates that Vitamin K2 can significantly reduce arterial calcification. One study demonstrated a 37% reduction in calcification after just 6 weeks and a 53% reduction after 12 weeks. The recommended dosage is 60-150 micrograms of Vitamin K2 per day. 

2. Magnesium

Higher levels of serum magnesium are associated with a reduced risk of hypertension and lower blood calcium levels. One study showed a 69% reduced risk of hypertension and a 42% lower likelihood of increased calcium accumulation. While many people obtain magnesium through their diet, deficiencies are common. The recommended dosage is between 120 and 360 mg per day.

3. Fish Oil

Omega-3s from fatty fish such as salmon and sardines support healthy cell function and reduce inflammation. They can also help lower triglycerides, heart rate, and blood pressure, offering various heart health benefits. A safe dosage is 1.5 to 3 grams per day, and eating wild-caught fish a few times a week is a good way to obtain these beneficial nutrients.
