1. How I Make Coffee

I choose clean, organic whole beans because they are less oxidized and contain more antioxidants. I grind the beans right before use to preserve their freshness. I use a Chemex pour-over with an unbleached filter, using approximately 1 tablespoon of grounds for every 3 ounces of water.

2. Kids & Sleep

According to new research children who consistently lack sleep from infancy may be at increased risk of developing mental health issues in early adulthood A new study found that those who slept fewer hours from 6 months to 7 years old were over twice as likely to develop a psychotic disorder and nearly four times as likely to experience a psychotic episode.

3. Cardio & Mortality

Regular cardio exercise like running, cycling, or swimming can significantly extend your life. New research shows that higher cardio fitness levels reduce the risk of death from any cause by 11-17%. The study also found that for every 1-MET increase in cardiorespiratory fitness, the risk of heart disease decreases by 18%.
