Oftentimes people are so focused on achieving a goal that they don’t stop to take a break.

Ultimately, this can lead to burnout and the likelihood of not achieving their goals.

Life is all about balance, and in order to achieve your goals, you need to be able to find the right combination of work and play.

1. Set Your Goal

Understand that your North Star is the biggest goal you want to achieve, but in order to get there, you must break it down into small milestones along the way. Breaking it down into smaller goals is much more achievable, and you will be less likely to get burnt out.

2. Take Action

Having a goal requires action. In order to achieve the goal, you must become the person who is willing to do the things required to achieve that goal. Take daily action towards your achievement.

3. Adapt

Allow your body and mind to adjust to your new goal; eventually, it will become second nature. The beginning stages are often the most challenging and might require a dedicated commitment until eventually it becomes a habit. Once you get used to it, begin to incorporate breaks into your schedule to prevent burnout.
