2. What Did The Study Show

This study found that various lifestyle factors can help protect against depression. Combining a healthy lifestyle with genetics also showed a reduced risk of depression, and there were connections between lifestyle, brain structure, and other biomarkers related to depression.

3. Which Factors Had the Greatest Influence

The research revealed that the most significant factor was getting a good night’s sleep. Getting between 7-9 hours of sleep resulted in the most substantial impact, reducing the risk by 22%.
