Show Highlights & Big Takeaways:

1. Kanuka Honey

Kanuka honey, like Manuka honey, is sourced from New Zealand and is high in methylglyoxal (MGO).  It boasts antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and is sought after for its potential wound-healing, sore throat-soothing, and digestive health-supporting properties.

2. The Relaxation Response

To initiate the relaxation response, find a quiet and comfortable space to sit or lie down. Begin by focusing on your breath, taking slow and deep inhalations through your nose, and exhaling gently through your mouth. As you breathe, let go of any tension in your muscles and visualize a peaceful scene or repeat a calming phrase.

3. Chimpanzees & Toxins

A recent study examines the impact of environmental pollution on both wild and captive chimpanzees. Researchers detected a total of 90 chemicals in the hair samples of chimpanzees, with captive individuals showing higher concentrations compared to their wild counterparts.
