    • B) 2-4+ hours ago

2. How would you describe the sensation?

    • A) A dry, parched feeling in my mouth
    • B) A gnawing or empty feeling in my stomach

3. Did you engage in physical activity recently?

    • A) Yes, I’ve just exercised or done heavy labor
    • B) No, I’ve been fairly inactive

4. Have you been sweating more than usual?

    • A) Yes
    • B) No

5. Are you experiencing any headaches or dizziness?

    • A) If so do you also have dry mouth or cramping
    • B) Or do you have a headache with fatigue and irritability

6. Try drinking a glass of water and wait 15 minutes. How do you feel now?

7. Are you finding it difficult to focus or concentrate?

1. Mostly A’s in Questions

You might be experiencing thirst. The sensations of dryness, distraction, and fatigue, especially after physical activity, can signal dehydration. Drink some water and see if the feelings subside.

2. Mostly B’s in Questions

Hunger might be what you are experiencing. If it’s been a few hours since you’ve eaten, and you feel a specific craving or a gnawing sensation in your stomach, it could be time to eat.

3. Mixed Responses

Your body might be signaling both hunger and thirst. Start by hydrating with water, and then evaluate if you still feel the need to eat.
