The blue zone diet is one of the premier diets when it comes to longevity. Numerous studies show that populations who follow this diet lived to be 100 years old. While I think this diet has some amazing benefits I also that we can make it even better by incorporating things such as sauna, detox, and meditation.

2. When to Brush Your Teeth

Do you know when the most important time is to brush your teeth?  It’s not after breakfast. The most important time to brush your teeth is upon waking. You can still brush them again after you eat but when you wake up you have peak levels of bacteria in your mouth that you want to ensure you get clean.

3. Mindfulness & Meditation

Research shows that you can improve telomere length through meditation. While meditation is an incredible addition to your wellness routine you can also mimic meditation-like states through binaural beats, float tanks, and other modalities that help to calm the sympathetic nervous system and improve heart rate variability.
