1. Herb of The Week

Saw Palmetto is an herb that helps both men and women by stopping the conversion of testosterone into DHT. Most commonly it is used to help with hair loss, prostate issues, and inflammation.

2. Back Pain & NSAIDs 

New research shows that the use of NSAIDs for back pain could exacerbate the problem.  By reducing inflammation in the body, NSAIDs could be prolonging the recovery period by not allowing the body to utilize inflammation in the healing process.

3. Annual PSA Screening

A new study shows a change in the recommendation for PSA screening. Checking PSA levels via bloodwork and monitoring for changes over time can help reduce the number of unnecessary biopsies.
