1. Tulsi & Ginger

Tulsi is an adaptogen that is great for stress. Add tulsi to ginger tea for a calming mid-afternoon break. Looking for a fun, non-alcoholic drink for the holidays? Mix Hibiscus with sparkling water and a pinch of sea salt. Hibiscus is rich in oxidants and can also help soothe an upset stomach.

2. Frozen vs Fresh

Frozen fruits such as blueberries, raspberries and mangoes often get moldy and go bad quickly. Pick these fruits when ripe and in season and freeze for longer-lasting fruits. 

3. Chocolate for Breakfast

One study has shown that eating a small about of chocolate earlier in the day could help improve metabolism, lower blood sugar levels and increase fat burning.
