2021: Intermittent Fasting vs. Caloric Restriction (Big Differences)

WW: Intermittent Fasting vs. Caloric Restriction (Big Differences)

Some people believe that by “dieting” alone or reducing their calories they automatically get the same benefits of intermittent fasting…

And since there are quite a number of people that share this viewpoint, I’d like to break down the big differences between the two…

Join me on today’s #CabralConcept 2021 for a debate between intermittent fasting vs. caloric restriction – Enjoy the show and let me know what you thought in the comments below!

Show Highlights & Big Takeaways:

1. Fasting

Intermittent fasting can last anywhere from 12 hours to a full day. After that, it is considered by most to be a fast and no longer “intermittent”.

2. Caloric Restriction

Reducing calories each day (or up and down during the week) is a way people diet primarily in hopes of losing or maintaining weight.

3. The Winner

Intermittent fasting can combine both fasting and caloric restriction. However, caloric restriction cannot provide all the benefits explained in today’s show of fasting.
