1. Yeast-Based Infection on Feet

A yeast-based infection, such as athlete’s foot, can cause burning, itching, and irritation between the toes. It may also present as cracking, peeling, or flaking skin and can spread to other areas of the foot. To help alleviate this, consider a foot bath with baking soda or apple cider vinegar, using an ozonator, or applying a topical antifungal cream.

A new pharmaceutical, lorlatinib (Lorbrena), shows significant promise in treating ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer. A study found that after five years, cancer progression occurred in only 40% of patients taking lorlatinib, compared to 92% of those on the previous drug. Lorlatinib has also demonstrated effectiveness against ALK resistance mutations and has even led to complete remission in some cases.
