The less you feel of a reaction to a stressor, often times the more balanced your endocrine and nervous system…

1. Bend Don’t Break

Too many people are pushing their bodies too hard too fast. Gradually work up to hot saunas, ice baths, hard workouts, or longer fasts…

2. Push The Limits

Once your body is healthy you can begin to slowly increase the stressors every month (such as a 24 hour fast or Functional Medicine Detox) in order to create “hormesis,” or a stronger metabolic flexibility/adaptability. 

3. Allow For Change

Even if you’ve been pushing your limits safely always allow for a day where you need to rest or do a bit less than you have been in order to listen to your body and recover as needed.
