Tick Bite Support Protocol
After removing the tick (properly and as soon as possible), the goal is to:
- Support the immune system
- Use natural antimicrobials
- Reduce potential bacterial load early
- Core Antimicrobial Support (30 Days)
Tick Bite Support Protocol
1. GI Balance (oregano, thyme, clove)
- Dose: 1 softgel
- Frequency: 3x per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
- Timing: Mid-meal
- Duration: 30 days
2. Citricidal (grapefruit seed extract)
- Dose: 3 drops in water
- Frequency: 2–3x per day
- First thing in the morning
- Before bed
- Duration: ~3 weeks
3. Cat’s Claw
- Dose: 1 full dropper
- Frequency: 2–3x per day
- Duration: 2–3 weeks
4. Astragalus
- Dose: 1 full dropper OR 1 capsule
- Frequency: 2–3x per day
- Duration: 2–3 weeks
5. Andrographis
- Dose: 1 capsule OR tincture equivalent
- Frequency: 3x per day (with meals)
- Duration: 2–3 weeks
Additional Important Notes
- Begin the protocol within 24 hours if possible
- Most tick bites do NOT lead to Lyme disease
- Risk increases after 36–48 hours of attachment
- Monitor for symptoms: Rash (bullseye or otherwise), Fever. Joint/muscle pain, Fatigue, Headaches
