When dealing with anxiety and depression it is important to start with a foundation of healthy nutritious foods. Your body needs specific vitamins and minerals that are essential for neurotransmitters to function properly.

2. Serotonin

Serotonin is the anti-depressive-based neurotransmitter. Tryptophan is important in creating more serotonin and your body needs Iron and B6 in order to convert it.

3. Gaba

Gaba is an amazing way to reduce anxiety naturally. Magnesium, manganese, Vitamin B6, B9, and B12 are the necessary cofactors that help turn glutamine into glutamate and then Gaba.
