1. Carbs

Carbohydrates typically have the sharpest effect on glucose spikes but you’ll usually come down quickly after a high carb meal as well.

2. Fat

Fats allow for a slow and steady small rise in glucose levels compared to the other 2 macros.

3. Protein

Protein enables you to maintain better blood sugar levels while only allowing for a small rise in most cases (based on quantity) after each meal.
