Check out today’s questions:
Stefanie: Hi doc! Thank you for all of your incredible knowledge! I don’t drink often, probably 2 glasses of wine every two weeks or so. I was thinking of taking some EquiLife FM detox on those nights. Do you think this would be of any benefit at all? If so, is it best to take them before or after drinking? Any other supplement recommendations?
Bee: Hi Dr Cabral, I am interested to know your thoughts on clothing and footwear that are made from recycled materials such as plastic bags, plastic bottles, nylon and the like in terms of toxicity/off-gassing etc. There seems to be an increase in ‘sustainable’ and ‘eco’ clothing I am seeing around ranging from sportswear and leggings to outer wear and shoes. Are they safe and low-tox to wear in your opinion or would they contribute to ones total toxic load? Love your work!
Anonymous: Hi, i am a 17 year old female and have been struggling with insomnia from childhood, i tried different methods for getting rid of it – breath work, reading … ect It works for some time and then i get used to is and back to square one. I heard in one of your podcasts that magnesium supplement and melatonin can work. What are the different and how much and which one should i take?
Anonymous: Hi,Dr Cabral. I have a question regarding certain dark areas on my body, my neck, knees and hips (when sitting) are much darker than the rest of my body, what are the reason for this and what are your suggestions on how can to cure this? Thanks in advance
Stephanie: Would you say that a sauna puts you in a sympathetic nervous system state? I’m a 23 year old vata with tons of anxiety and cortisol levels through the roof. I have stopped working out for now because it was very high intensity which has only worsen the situation. I will return to working out at some point but while I rebuild my body, I’m sticking to 10k steps daily. I’m trying to find another way to sweat but no sure if a sauna is good for me right now. What are your thoughts?
Andrea: Hi! Thank you so much for answering my question! What is the minimum fat percentage you’d recommend for a woman? It seems like a very low fat percentage can sometimes cause hormonal dysfunction. Would you say 15% maybe?
