Check out today’s questions:
Anonymous: If you or a family member were diagnosed with Barrett’s esophagus and put on omeprazole at a very high dose to stop stomach bleeds but has since caused incredible iron deficiency where you have to have it intravenously supplemented, what would you do?
Sarah: Hi Dr Cabral! Happy New Year to you and your family, I’m incredibly grateful to have found you and your wealth of information that you provide for the improved health of our world. As an ICU nurse of 10 years I am so incredibly grateful to be in your IHP course and learning other more pure and healthful ways to care for people by keeping them out of the hospital and hopefully heading off chronic illness and disease. My question is what are your thoughts about sea moss as a dietary supplement? As long as it is of course very cleanly and purely grown and harvested? It’s said to have a myriad of benefits including vitamins and minerals as well as appetite suppression and GI regulation, but I have been wondering about your thoughts on it for awhile. Thanks so much and have a wonderful day!
Angie: I recently ran the Mold lab with Great Plaines – MycoTox report with my naturopathic doctor and it showed elevated levels of Aspergillus Ochratoxin A at level 15.87. I had a consultation with her and she didn’t think my levels were high enough to do a mold protocol. Back story, I have struggled with bloating, constipation and a rash on the back of my head for years that started after living with my mother in laws house who did have mold. I have eradicated parasites and HPylori, but I still don’t feel well. If I stay on a strict Candida diet I feel better, but I had vinegarette the other day and the rash on my head intensified. I don’t want to just manage my symptoms, but get to the root of the problem. I say all this because I’d like to do your mold protocol to get the fungus back in control, but with my levels do you suggest I do that? I am currently doing the CBO finisher.
Michael: Hi Dr Cabral, I had a question regarding HCL. I keep hearing not to take HCL when you have a h pylori infection. But about if someone has h pylori and sibo?
Yasmin: I am a 57 year old female and have recently been experiencing lower back pain and decided to get some tests.done. I was diagnosed with osteopenia. Was prescribed 50,000 iu of vitamin d and some calcium, zinc and magnesium supplements. My question is, is there any treatment that I can follow that will reverse the osteopenia? And any other advice you can give me. My grandmother had osteoporosis and my mother was borderline. Thank you so much . Have been listening to your podcasts which I came across recently. Jasmin
Shane: Hi Dr. Cabral, I have experienced the last 3 years a discomfort / slight pain on the right side of my head, neck / shoulder mostly feel it behind my right ear and top of head especially when i wake up along with my right hand feeling cold and stiff when I wake up. I also have a 4 inch hook shaped rash on the right side of my neck recently right behind my ear. After being diagnosed with a fatty liver and gallstones. I have done multiple liver and gallbladder flushes and have got out thousands of stones which has improved my symptoms and health immensely! Also have done the big 5 labs and have Candida Overgrowth, SIBO, but interesting I didn’t have any food sensitivities which I was curious can you have a leaky gut and not have any food sensitivities? I also ordered the stool test recently so will be doing that as well to see if I have any other imbalances. Also starting the CBO Protocol in the next month so I was just curious do you think this could be my vagus nerve being overactive due to the imbalance in my body causing my right side of my head, neck and shoulders to have discomfort and pain? I workout 6 times a week, eat a balanced plant based diet, take supplements, get chiropractor and acupuncture care so just curious what else to do? Thank You for all you do! Shane
