HouseCall: Consistent Acne, Campylobacteriosis, Post Surgery Care, Bioresonance Devices, Walking & All-Cause Mortality
Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend!
I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of our community’s questions that have come in over the past few weeks…
Let’s get started!
Emily: I am in my 20s and have struggled with acne for over 10 years now. It has always been deep, red, painful, consistent blemishes. I have consistently seen two separate naturopathic doctors/chiropractors during this time as well. We have looked at hormones, food sensitivities, even emotional based healing. You name it – I’ve tried it. Skincare included. Yet my acne and skin congestion has continued to settle in & worsen, now with scars as well. I now use gentle/minimal skincare. It affects my every day life. It’s hard to have hope that it will ever hear. Do you have any suggestions what I should do? I am planning to begin my first detox program soon, which is one thing I have never done before. I am excited to add regular detoxing to my health journey.
Kelsi: hi dr. cabral! i have a bit of a complex question. in 2013 i got very sick with campylobacteriosis. ten years later my rain barrel is starting to show overflowing symptoms via the skin. ive read that the migrating motor complex can be damaged with this type of infection by targeting the vinculin protein, thus, causing digestive issues. i’m curious if your detox, CBO protocol + finisher is the best route here and if adding 1 day a week of dry fasting could boost healing? thank you so much.
Luis: Hi Dr Cabral, I’ve written in before regarding hyperparathyroidism/hypercalcemia. It was advised that I may have excess adrenal stress. Since then, they found a adenoma in my upper left parathyroid gland. By the time you read this, I would have likely had it removed but have a few questions. What can you advise as far as post-operative care besides what the doctors usually recommend ( I would rather not take tums or calcium carbonate)? What sort of complications can I expect having 1 of the glands out? Lastly, what do you think could have caused this and what can be done to prevent another from forming? The only other thing I can add is that I was working 3rd shift (I returned to day shift a year ago) while being on a keto diet during the time I started getting my symptoms. Thanks
Bindi: Hi Dr Cabral! I’m an IHP with you and so grateful for all that you offer to the community!! I have a question on wellness tech – what are your thoughts on Bioresonance devices like Healy? And any bio tracking wearable recommendations specifically for women? I’m an IHP specializing in women’s hormonal health and would love to see more wearables with research/data on women’s bodies, the menstrual cycle, and doesn’t make her her vitals look like she’s dying when pregnant with the oura ring haha. What are your fave bio tracking wearables and any ones you’ve heard of that are excellent for women?
Audrey: Hi Dr. Cabral, Why do studies show that just walking can reduce all cause mortality and dementia? Why not running or biking or weight lifting? Thank you for freely sharing your valuable knowledge!
Thank you for tuning into this weekend’s Cabral HouseCalls and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Mindset & Motivation Monday show to get your week started off right!
