HouseCall: Adrenal Soothe in AM, Herbs & Miscarriage, Pars Planitis, Healing from Mold, Fibromyalgia, AquaPure
Thank you for joining us for our 2nd Cabral HouseCall of the weekend!
I’m looking forward to sharing with you some of our community’s questions that have come in over the past few weeks…
Let’s get started!
Alicja: Hi Dr. Cabral, I hope you are doing well. My question is about Adrenal Soothe suplement. I learned from your podcasts that the best is to take it at night, or at lunch and then again after dinner. My highest stress is always in the morning and first half a day. Is it ok to take Adrenal Sooth with breakfast? Or would that slow me down too much and made me feel a bit sluggish during the busiest time of my days. Big THANK YOU for your amazing work.
Anonymous: Are there any herbs, supplements, etc. that you know of that definitively cause miscarriages? (Not simply herbs/supplements that are recommended to not use during pregnancy out of caution, but herbs/supplements that have an extremely high correlation and possible causation with miscarriages specifically)
Angela: My 22 y.o. daughter was diagnosed with Pars Planitis when she was 10, which is a disease of the eye that is characterized by inflammation of the narrowed area between the colored part of the eye and the choroid. This may lead to blurred vision; dark, floating spots; and progressive vision loss. As the condition advances, cataracts, retinal detachment, or macular edema may develop”. She has been seeing one of the best doctors for this at Emory Chilldren’s Hospital in ATL. She gets steroid injections and or a cryo procedures done once/twice a year. Her doctor had always predicted that she would grow out of this in her early 20s, but that is not happening. Her doctor is now recommending that she start taking either Humira or methotrexate (which is what I am taking). I was diagnosed with RA in 2004 and she was tested for that recently as well, but found that she does not have RA. I have been following you for several months now. I have done the 21 day detox, ran the big 5 labs plus the stool test, had my 2 hr consultation last month with one of your IHPs and working through all of my protocols now. The last thing I want is for her is to get on these meds which I am trying desperately to get off of . Just wondering if you have any knowledge of this and what you recommend?
Mallory: Hi Dr. Cabral! I thought of one more question to ask you after writing in last week! I’ve done your mold protocol & felt better fairly quickly! I do however still see biofilm in my stool every day after slowly detoxing for about a year now. Could what appears to be biofilm in my stool, actually be the result of something else, such as a supplement? Are you able to say if this is my body still detoxing? I’ve been getting what I believe are Herx – type reactions about once a month. I am wondering if this is more than likely because of detoxing too quickly, or if i am just catching more colds because my immune system is down. I use gi detox, which I realize is charcoal based. As I heal, could my body become less sensitive to charcoal / binders in general? Can you tell me if it is possible to heal from mold toxicity (Ochatroxin A, specifically) without any binders at all? Can Citricidal help? Lastly, I was diagnosed with hoshimotos shortly after I got my mold labs back. Have you seen individuals get rid of hoshimotos by detoxing from mold? So sorry for all the questions, I understand you cannot give medical advice 🙂 I unfortunately have not yet been able to get in touch with any other professionals that are as experienced as you in my specific dis-eases! 🙂
Jenna: I am writing on behalf of my Mom who has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and it’s mainly concentrated to her leg muscles. They are constantly achey, especially at night and hurt even more when she lays down on them. It’s like the nerves are sensitive to any pressure. She has done 2 labs through EquiLife- an HTMA and an Omega 3. The HTMA showed Calcium & Magnesium through the roof, and elevated mercury (she has amalgams but won’t get them out). The Omega 3 test was normal (she supplements). What would be your next step in this scenario?
Steven: Hey Doc! What are your thoughts on AquaPure? Apparently it uses regular tap water and a small amount of salt to create a “powerful” cleaning solution that removes pesticides, bacteria, and other contaminants. It claims to get rid of more than 99% of pesticides but no sure if this is legit!
Thank you for tuning into this weekend’s Cabral HouseCalls and be sure to check back tomorrow for our Mindset & Motivation Monday show to get your week started off right!
