2624: Skipping Breakfast Linked to Early Death?

TT: Skipping Breakfast Linked to Early Death?

I am a huge fan of intermittent fasting and think it is one of the best things we can be doing for our overall health and wellness…

The problem, however, is that it can be overdone, which can cause more harm than good.

Today I want to share with you a recent study that provides more insight into what the best times are for intermittent fasting and what the optimal timing is to ensure you achieve the maximum benefits.

Join me on today’s #CabralConcept 2624 where we uncover if skipping breakfast is linked to an early death and what you can do instead to achieve the most from intermittent fasting – Enjoy the show and let me know what you thought!

Show Highlights & Big Takeaways:

1. Intermittent Fasting Study

A recent study showed that people who only ate one meal per day instead of 3 meals per day were 30% more likely to die from all causes.  While I think this study is important, it had some flawed data, but it allows us more insight into what the optimal time is for intermittent fasting.

2. Intermittent Fasting Stress

We have to be careful with not going overboard when fasting.  Fasting for too long can cause stress on the body and cause metabolic damage.

3. My Recommendation

I have always recommended fasting for 12-16 hours but doing so without skipping a meal. I suggest you stop eating at 6pm and start eating at 8-10 in the morning.
