Check out today’s questions:
Carl: Thank you for the tremendous service that you provide, Dr Cabral. I have been dealing with an overall dry body. Dry palms, feet, face, etc. When I urinate it is always high volume. No matter how much I drink, my urine is borderline dark yellow. I’m dealing with a long term Candida issue. I did the big five a year ago and my T4 was fine, T3 was low. My body is buzzing all the time and feels stressed to the max. .. A certified mess. I have tried the thyroid and both adrenal supplements. I currently take DNS, greens powder and Omega3. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Roman: Hey Dr. Cabral! I listened to your “What your pee says about your health” podcast. There was no mention of “foamy or bubbles” in pee. I’ve had this issue for a long time. It doesn’t happen with every pee but most pees will bubbles (sometimes more, sometimes less). I mentioned this to my Doctor who shrugged it off as “probably something you ate”. I did protein-strip tests but they were negative. I’m a generally healthy 39 year old male with a healthy diet and lifestyle. I did test positive for candida overgrowth in my gut. Could this have anything to do with my issue? If not, what could it be? PS: I will be starting a your limited yeast protocol in a few weeks. Thanks so much for answering my question :
Cindy: Hi doctor Cabral, I eat very healthy diet and exercise 6 days a week (weight lifting and walking). I also do 16:8 fast every day. I have noticed that my weight is increasing, especially around the abdomen. I checked my hormones, and found out that my thyroid is on a low side and my estrogen and progesterone too. I’m 47, so I feel that’s normal. My cortisol is slightly increased too. I really want to lose some weight, especially around the middle. What would you suggest? How do I find out what’s stressing my body? How do I know of it’s the fast or something else? Thanks so much for you answer – I really appreciate your help.
Mirella: Hi doctor Cabral, generally speaking – do you need to take on extra vitamins and minerals if you are already using a multivitamin that contains RDA of all the main micronutrients that you need? Thank you kindly for your answer
Marina: Hi Dr Cabral, Every time I include Protein Powder into my daily routine, whether it is Whey or Vegan, my iron saturation always goes up too much to around 50%, if I exclude it for a month or so, it drops back to 25-30%. Why could it be? I understand that Vegan might have this effect due to vegan iron sources etc, but not sure why Whey WPI would have the same affect?
