Prolonged high blood pressure damages the arteries supplying blood to the
heart and can lead to atherosclerosis. You can reduce your blood
pressure levels by improving your diet and exercise through the steps
listed below.
Healthy Blood Pressure Levels:
Systolic Rate: < 120 mm/Hg
Diastolic Rate: < 80mm/ Hg
Try adding these natural products daily:
Calcium Citrate and Magnesium
Promotes relaxation of the muscles – including the heart.
Recommended dosage: 1,500mg daily
Garlic
Increases circulation by thinning the blood. Check with your doctor if you are
on any blood thinning medication.
Recommended dosage: 1,000mg or 2-3 cloves daily
Potassium
This is a must if you are taking HBP medication to balance out electrolytes.
Green Vegetables and Vegetable Juices
Helps thin the blood and increase circulation.

Exercise
Work up to 45 – 60 minutes at least 4 times a week. Get a clean bill of health

Take your pulse before you exercise and then immediately upon stopping.
Repeat every 5 minutes until your pulse has returned to your pre-exercise
level. When your heart rate returns to its pre-exercise level within 5 minutes of
stopping you know you and your heart are in good shape.
