Video Release: “The Goblet Squat”
Have you ever heard of the “Goblet Squat?”
If not, I highly recommend checking it out since it not only works your legs, but it
targets your abs and core muscles as well!
By the end of the set you’ll feel like you worked your entire body – it really can be that
intense as long as you push yourself…
I recommend using a weight that is challenging enough to force your muscles
to engage properly. Most people will need to start with at least a 20 pound dumbbell
to begin getting the benefits.
Before I give you the link for the video demonstration I wanted to provide you with a few
tips to keep in mind when performing the Goblet Squat:
Tip #1
Hold the dumbbell with your palms touching the handle and facing each other
Tip #2:
Your fingers should clasp the head of dumbbell
Tip #3:
Keep the weight at about chin height the entire set
Tip #4:
Make sure to keep your core muscle engaged and do not lean forward as you squat
Tip #5:
Sit back with your hips and keep the weight on your heels
Tip #6:
Look straight ahead the entire set
Tip #7:
Breathe in on the way down and exhale out on the way up
