2134: My New Favorite Workout Program & Why

TT: My New Favorite Workout Program & Why

I had to make a switch to my resistance training workout program in order to improve recovery and reduce time…

What started as an experiment to decrease inflammation ended up turning into the ideal exercise program for me…

So of course I wanted to document the success I was having in hopes it may help you as well…

For all the details on my new favorite workout program tune into today’s #CabralConcept 2134 – Enjoy the show and let me know what you thought!

Show Highlights & Big Takeaways:

1. Decrease Volume

Whenever you are trying to recover from an illness or being run down you can continue to exercise, but you may be best served by cutting down on your total exercises and sets (volume).

2. Periodization

A great workout program has built-in lower volume and higher volume weeks, but never be afraid to reduce the total load even if that week doesn’t call for it in order to compensate for a lack of sleep or high levels of stress.

3. Ramp Up

Once fully recovered for at least 2 weeks you can now develop a workout program that pushes your body to a new level.
