Today I want to outline a fun, fast, and highly effective fat loss interval you can add into your workout routine!
This is one that I like to give my clients directly after we just finished an intense resistance based metabolic workout.
What I’ve found is that even just adding 1-2 rounds of a super-charged interval like this one at the end of a workout can boost your metabolism to even greater degree. Keep in mind that studies have shown that an intense interval based workout can elevate your metabolism for up to 36 hours!
If you’re looking to burn more body fat and you have not already added in a fat loss interval at the end of your workouts I highly recommend giving one of the ones I provide on my website a shot.
They’re fast to complete, but don’t let that deter you from thinking they won’t produce results…
Remember, when it comes to fat loss it’s better to complete a shorter workout (20-30 minutes) that’s more intense than to complete a longer workout (60 minutes) that lacks any real fire and effort.
Here is the 40 Second Fat Loss Interval:
> Complete 20 seconds of Mountain Climbers followed immediately by 20 seconds of Frog Jumps.
So it will look like this (40 seconds total):
- Mountain Climbers x 20 seconds
- Frog Jumps x 20 seconds
* Rest 40 – 80 seconds (1 minute 20 seconds) and then repeat 1-2 more times.
