This is what I use with my children when they’re feeling sick:
- Daily Foundational Protocol (1x/day)
- Protocol Ingredients:
- DNS Shake x 1/2sc (or x1 capsule of Daily Activated Multi-Vitamin)
- Daily Fruit & Vegetable Blend x 1/2sc
- Liquid Omega-3 x 1/4 tsp
- Daily Probiotic x 1 capsule
- Note: We do this everyday even when not sick
- Protocol Ingredients:
- Immunity Protocol (1x/day)
- Protocol Ingredients:
- Alkalizing Vitamin C powder x 1/4sc
- Liquid Vitamin D3 x 1 drop (taken with food)
- Note: We use liquid vitamin D3 everyday unless at the beach in direct sun
- Protocol Ingredients:
- Herbal Immune Syrup (1 tsp 2-3x/day)
- Includes: Echinacea, thyme, propolis, and other respiratory & immune boosting herbs
- Note: We only use this when sick
- Elderberry Syrup (1tsp 2-3x/day)
- Includes: Elderberry, zinc, vitamin C
- Note: We only use this when sick
- Dosing: I add all of the Vitamin D3, Omega-3, Herbal Immune, Elderberry Syrup to a small medicine cup and my children take it all at once (at breakfast & dinner mid-meal). They then usually sip something they like the flavor of or eat a Vitamin C or Sambucol Gummy.
Other nutritional supplements I personally find helpful and often add only when not feeling my best:
- Nano-Particle Colloidal Silver (not used often, but part of healthy tonsil protocol)
- Liquid Melatonin (1/4 dropper before bed)
- Elderberry & Zinc lozenges (1-2/day maximum)
- Propolis Throat Spray (for sore throat)
- Colloidal Silver Nasal Spray (for sinus congestion)
- Neti Pot with 1-2 Citricidal Drops & Saline (for sinus congestion)
- Ear Drops (for earache) + Hot compress (cooked dry rice w/essential oils wrapped in a towel)
To keep things simple my kids get their normal everyday supplements at dinner.
And, if they’re not feeling well we do 2 servings of their immunity supplements at breakfast and dinner (always given with food since zinc can make children and adults nauseous on an empty stomach). Only on rare occasions if they have a really bad cold do we do the above immunity protocol a 3rd time at lunch.
Healthy Tonsil Protocol
We add all of these products together and gargle twice a day for as long as possible (20-60 seconds) and then swallow and ingest.
- Nano-Particle Colloidal Silver (1/2 tsp)
- Elderberry Syrup (1 tsp)
- Herbal Immune Syrup (1 tsp)
- Liquid Vitamin C Syrup (1/2-1 tsp)
I then have my children spray the Propolis spray or/and Colloidal Silver spray directly on their tonsils 3-4x/day.
This typically works within 1-2 weeks to achieve the desired effect. However, we once had to use this for almost 2 months for gradual shrinking. It was worth it and my daughter was great!
We took photos and showed her progress along the way and then we made a game of counting how long she could gargle the liquid – our goal was 30 seconds and then swallow. She felt very proud and satisfied to see the results and her sleep, snoring, and health improved dramatically that winter!
